I welcome you to the website of Raksha Retreat Owners welfare society. It is our endeavor to make all the visitors and residents comfortable. I assure you a blissful and comfortable stay.
Myself and my Executive Committee are committed to provide best amenities and basic facilities according to the budget available.
We are constantly adding value by creating things like Exotic Herbal Garden, Honey Bee Colony etc.We care about the environment and thus we have been regularly planting trees since 2015 and over 1000 trees have been planted and quite of few of them have grown to a height of 8-10 ft.
Our club house provides a comfortable stay to visitors of our residents in our fully furnished guest rooms at reasonable costs and economical food in the well maintained and hygienic kitchen.
Water in our society is highly rich in Minerals, electricity is un-interrupted as UK has surplus power supply and security is given utmost importance. Our Security team is under the leadership of a former Subedar from Infantry who keep constant vigil on the whole society.
You can see from the pictures that all five basic elements are fully present in our society. Coming here means adding years to your life and add happiness, joy and good health.

RAKSHA RETREAT, Nainital, The Lake Region of Uttarakhand is famous for its scenic beauty and environmental charm all over the world. There are many spring water lakes in this part of the world surrounded by hills bedecked with majestic and dense oak and pine trees. At the altitude of 4500- 5000 ft. above the sea level, Bhimtal is climatically ideal for all seasons and most importantly for all groups. Also with the fast developing tourism sector in the region, a whole new world is waiting to be explored by the tourists from all over the world.

Raksha Retreat is located on Bhimtal - Saattal Road over looking the picturesque lush green Bhimtal Valley and the emerald lake with an island. The very existence of Raksha Retreat is inspired by the raw and ravishing natural beauty of every nook and corner of the region. All landscaped surroundings at Raksha Retreat are thoughtfully planned and aesthetically nurtured with a unique garden of medicinal and aromatic himalayan herbs in the centre. There are a total of 116 cottages in Raksha Retreat divided into various rows. A society called Raksha Retreat 2 Owners Welfare Society was formed in 2010 where there are a total of 98 members. Around 20 cottages are either not complete or not being taken over by residents on non-completion of various commitments by the builders. Raksha Retreat has residents from all walk of society – Defence services, Civil Servants, Businessmen and Entrepreneurs.
